Good afternoon, friends.
I write to you as a preacher or a friend of preaching. Our Institute for Homiletics is offering a Homiletics Coaches Training Workshop on October 15-17, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lake Conference Center in Mundelein, IL, followed by five weekly online follow-up sessions. We have begun accepting applications; the deadline to apply is September 30, 2026.
Why might this program be for you or for someone that you know? Many clergy and lay people in the homiletics field feel that they have gotten much theoretical training in preaching, yet are less confident that they are well-trained in the practical and hands-on wisdom of helping a seminarian or an ordained preacher to grow and improve. If that seems intriguing, you can learn more and apply here.
Please help us spread the word. The training of our seminarians, priests, and deacons is only as strong as the quality of the homiletic formation that their instructors and mentors have received. We want to help with that.
